Worship Leader Quick Tips – You Attract Who You Are

It’s call the Law of Magnetism.  In a nutshell it’s the principle that who you are is who you will attract. 

 As a leader, one of your primary responsibilities is to develop a team that exemplifies the values and characteristics you are wanting to exhibit in your ministry. 

 So if you haven’t…you should make a list.  Make a list that describes what you want to be true. Is it…

Now instead of going down the road of wishful thinking or resenting the team you have…stop a minute.  And in the words of the great philosopher, Michael Jackson, “I talkin bout the man in the mirror.  I’m asking him to change his ways.”

 

If you aren’t developing what you want…look in the mirror.  You can’t expect your team to follow what you don’t lead.  So, maybe your team is only reflecting what you are modeling.  Remember, you attract who you are.  This happens both ways…so if you want to attract something different in your team. Then, take a look at yourself and make a change.
